also, do you have a preference on canon point for hubert? I definitely don't want to step on any toes in the cast, and since I can go either pre- or post-timeskip, I figured I'd ask!

i'd probably lean toward pre-timeskip FOR PURELY SELFISH REASONS LMAO because once linhardt canon updates later this month ferdinand's going to be the only loser from five years ago... and i plan to update him someday too but not for a good long while still!

(though it's also funny if he IS the only one, so REST ASSURED THAT I WOULD NOT HOLD EITHER CHOICE AGAINST YOU)

I'm really charmed either way, I love their dumbass dynamic pre-timeskip but post-timeskip hubert trying to deal with pre-timeskip ferdinand is also dumb and hilarious SO HMM. I'll think about it!! either way, I love ferdinand and want only good things for him!!
