It is food! You know, I had heard that bringing things such as eggs or cups of sugar to new neighbors was the custom, but another gentleman I met complained about it and said it would be better to bring something that was already ready to eat... Then again, he ended up not being a very pleasant person, so perhaps he was lying to me about what new neighbors want?... If you do not want this, would you prefer sugar or an egg?
