The blonde was just silent as Pyrrha spoke. A voice he'd wished to hear from the source rather than just old recordings he had. He took in the fact that she didn't know about her own death or that even that it was a possibility. As unlikely as it seemed this wasn't just Pyrrha, but one who was before the fall of Beacon went into full swing.
None of that really mattered in the moment though. As soon as he knew this wasn't an illusion Pyrrha would find herself being pulled into a tight hug as if Jaune was worried she would disappear if he didn't hold her close enough.
There was so much he wanted to say to her. So much he'd need to explain, but all he could think to say was, "I missed you."
While she wouldn't be able to see his expression Pyrrha would be able to hear that deep grief in his voice and after a moment she'd feel Jaune's tears hit her shoulder. As much as he tried he couldn't hold them back any longer.
