[joke's on you i'm always trying to assassinate someone
sometimes it's just my own feelings]
'T'was a tale I heard as a child. A clever raven flew about a village, stealing food enough that the villagers could scarcely feed themselves. Archers nor swordsman could fight the raven, as he was quick, and hiding the food did no good, as the raven could always find it. Yet as its gluttony grew, so too did its arrogance, for none of the traps set for it could catch the clever thing.
A farmer's crop was blighted, and so he took it in a sack, leaving it to be disposed of later. He told the villagers the fruit in it was blighted, and went to his business. And the raven, growing ever more greedy, believed this was no more than another trick. So it opened the bag and glutted itself upon the blighted fruit, and died soon after.
'T'is meant to be a tale cautioning one of arrogance, that when one believes themselves too clever, they may bring their own undoing. But here I see a bag of something I know not labeled as food, and my mind must recall that tale and wonder if this is another trap for the raven.
