This is both less concerning than he was hoping and more concerning than he was hoping, considering none of the apparent residents of this place had heard of, well, any city or nation he could name. Which was a bit discouraging, but he wasn't actually going to show that, because seriously, who does that? Losers, that's who.
So after taking a drink and... trying to get somewhere with reasonably fresh air, because that fruity smell would not be unpleasant if there wasn't so much of it, he's going to try and strike up some conversation.]
