He starts as Fenris starts to rise, then lowers himself again, looking pained. Ah, that's why he'd been asleep-- unconscious, more like, likely having attempted to get physical with the researchers at some point. He hesitates, then slides off the bunk, moving instead nearer to the stranger's head and torso and lowering himself neatly into seiza.
"I suppose that might be true," he admits mildly, though he's admittedly not as concerned about the idea as he might be. Largely because: "I didn't sense particularly evil intentions from them, though. Mostly curiosity, some caution, excitement." That doesn't necessarily mean that they have pure intentions, of course, but given the Saniwa's current options, well.. hoping for the best can't hurt.
He tilts his head, glance flicking from Fenris's ears to his hair, then to the markings immediately visible, before settling on his eyes. "If you like, I could attempt to remove the after-effects you're experiencing." Though he's admittedly more accustomed to dealing with his spirits' bodies than with whatever sort of being this man is.
