Weiss has unconsciously set aside what disdain she has for the man. At the end of the day, they're allies with the same goal. (Wait - do they even have a goal? Either way, they don't want any harm done to Ruby.) That gives her the confidence to rely on him a little, even if she wouldn't ever admit it.
