Prompto might be confessing that he didn't tell Noctis about the crystal and Ardyn, putting on the ring, losing the Regalia... losing Luna. But what he's really confessing is that he didn't tell him about who he really is, where he was really born, and why he hides his wrist all the time. It must've been hell for him, keeping that secret all over again. In a way, Noctis is hurt that Prompto wouldn't trust him, outside of when it was necessary to get them through locked doors. But on the other hand, he can't blame him, either. Noctis shrugs. ]

[ Kind of an easy dismissal, but it's the truth. Even knowing Prompto kept all that from him, Noctis still trusts him more than anyone. And he's telling him now, even though it's hard for him. And since Noctis doesn't even remember... forgetting, or time-travel, or whatever it was... Prompto really never had to say anything at all. ]
