I asked my friends about it once, but they didn't know much either. They said they found me on the beach. I had no previous memories and I couldn't even speak properly. I don't remember it myself, but apparently, I used to only be able to say "nyuu, nyuu," so that's how I got the name that I have now.

[However, unbeknownst to Nyuu, Kouta and Yuka purposely left out the fact that she'd been bleeding from the head when they found her, and naked. Perhaps to prevent scaring her.]
