if it becomes a routine he'll start leaving empty containers outside, sometimes with partially-eaten things he didn't like still in them. that counts as letting him know, right, that's totally some sort of message
Jiu, no. Please don't eat things that have been sitting outside forever. Transmigration via food poisoning has already been done once. No repeats!
The only dangerous things in his desserts and treats are sugar, flour and probably so many glorious calories.
Considering canon I can definitely see Binghe using the half-eaten munchies to interpret Jiu's tastes with striking precision before reloading his doormat, mailbox, steps with all baked goods!

there's plenty worth living for, if he stops fighting people (well, of the non-feminine variety) who want to help him figure that out. just put down the fists jiu, it's going to be okay.

you can't blame him for being wary though, considering the last binghe he knew forcibly detached his fists from his body.....it's a long road to recovery! his emotional support mermaid and weird soft-hearted doppleganger have been helping.
at this rate he's just gonna live entirely off of handouts instead of buying his own food, what with this and konoha's free food service.....are you feeding your actual shizun too, is binghe becoming a shizun-only patisserie-
No blame. Binghe even feels incredibly guilty for trying to draw Shen Jiu into his company, all things considered. So, SJ is welcome to take the time he needs.
Making meals is his thing. So feel free to live off the Binghe & Konoha delivery services when they're there for you~.
That would be adorable. And, hey- Shen Jiu was his Shizun too at the start! Binghe owes him a lot because life would have turned out differently if Shen Jiu hadn't chosen him to be his disciple out of everyone else.
maybe someday they'll reach a point where jiu is willing to actually hold a decent conversation with him.....or, you know, be a little less feral. less scratches, more hisses (wait)
he'll never tell binghe why he picked him to begin with, it'll be his secret forever (unless yuan spills the beans). good to see there's at least one acceptable binghe in the multiverse though....an acceptable binghe with surprisingly good cooking skills, he's getting spoiled here...!!
