Atem | Yu-Gi-Oh! | Sanguis

Arrival

[ One moment, he was greeting Kaiba within the Afterlife (the stupid idiot) and next he was encased in crystal in an area that looked nothing at all like the Field of Reeds. Such a strange place, not even the mortal realm with Yugi and his friends looked like this. Nothing he could ever even imagine, really. Just where was he?

With a wince and a grunt, Atem pulled himself out of the crystal tomb that he had been encased in. The Millenium Puzzle weighed against his neck, almost surprising him. He wasn't entirely what the Puzzle would do for him here. He wasn't within the Field of Reeds, this place felt more like the mortal realm. Well, time to find out.

It would simply be a puzzle that needed solving. Of course, finding another soul within this crystal field would be the first priority. So, there will be an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh with incredibly wild tri-colored hair wandering about. ]

There and Back Again

[ Now dressed in more modern clothes as his Egyptian attire was definitely ill-suited for the colder weather here. Atem was currently in an apartment testing out the technology. There was no setting for anything even resembling Egyptian, but perhaps he could get something close to Yugi's place? Atem felt as though he had spent long enough in Japan to be able to get that right... right?

At least modern technology didn't through him off too badly, having been used to his time in modern day Japan. He sighed, scratching at the back of his neck as he tilted his head at the room before him. ]

I suppose there would be such a thing as too many choices.

[ Maybe he should leave well enough alone for now. Or maybe find someone who was Japanese. ]
