[Julian displays decidedly less reticence than his new friend, strides boldly into the strange machine, only pausing once standing inside. Nothing like this exists in his own world, technology many, many years behind, but he's been away for long enough now to have some knowledge of modern machines. The place he'd found himself thrust into before here, it had been an advanced one, to his eye. And as such, he's had a little practice.
Still. He scratches his chin as he looks everything over, takes just a moment to try working it all out, mutters quietly under his breath--
