[ It's a slightly mollifying answer, because it doesn't seem like she was actively suggesting he should hope for that, or that people should, which would get his righteous outrage going. And instead it just feels like she's being... kind of overly thorough about all possibilities. It reminds him a little about how some of the science team would attempt to over-explain things.

—academic. It's very academic, that's what it is.

Also, that statement... Besides, some worlds are much worse than this, is a very chilling sort of answer indeed. Especially since, well... though Allen would expect there to be more to this world than what he's seen, that there's a darker truth behind it because that's just how his intuition feels...

...even so, his own world would absolutely fall under that. Though for someone like him, that's even more reason for why he has to return.
