and besides, it's not as though their having not slept together yet was entirely on him. he had been just flushed with testosterone and adrenaline after rescuing her from the shishigumi enough to go through with it, probably, but then she'd had to go and stick her entire arm down his throat... (of course, he'd called off trying again after that, but it'd probably killed off that adrenaline.)
