Rin went home for a canon update and went through some serious Trauma (tm). Upon return he went from having shaggy black hair to white/pale blue hair and fur on his tail, slightly longer fangs and pointed ears, and a just-barely-noticeable bigger dot of red in the center of his pupils. It's been a difficult adjustment and there's a hint more of his demonic nature compared to before that is also amplified during his moon.
Despite all this Rin is still Rin, and he still walks with that slight punk swagger and gives off an initial impression of "Japanese delinquent" until you get to know him better. In reality he's a big baby who loves cooking, cries at the dumbest things like shoujo romance manga and will purr if you pet him.
Rin speaks very informally. He swears a lot, drops constants at the end of "ing" words, slurs other words together (y'know, d'ya, I'unno), and is just generally very casual in how he speaks. He'll give respect where it's due and will try to reign in the swearing when around certain types of people but it doesn't always work out that way. He'll lay on the insulting nicknames if particularly ruffled or pissed off. His voice is mid-to-high range and can hit some pretty impressive notes when shrieking or bellowing out his annoyance.
SCENT
Rin does shower and generally keep himself clean but being a teenager he's not terribly concerned with the finer points of one's odor. He's one of those kids who just grabs whatever smells the least awful and puts it on. Working in a kitchen, especially a grill also means that he tends to smell line one, especially after his shift is over.
MISC.
Rin recently adopted a fuzzy gray kitten he named Mochi.
He is here with his long time girlfriend who he met in the world he was in previously, a small island village that was dubbed by the unwilling residents as "Chroma Village", funnily enough having nothing to do with the chroma generated in Prismatica but everything to do with color. Kohaku Hearts (from Tales of Hearts R) was from a different world but they managed to wind up together in Prismatica after she had temporarily gone home in the previous game.
Rin runs Nissan's Teppanyaki, a Teppanyaki grill on Crystal Beach. He's looking for more employees and encourages people to come in for good quick Japanese style food and specials!
