and I know...

CW: Contains potential body horror in Prompt D.

You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

The next destination: Prismatica.

Welcome to the Jungle
Iris Moon, Government Center (Arrival) and Planet Prismatica, City of Lunatia | top

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

A  Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

My Anaconda Don’t-
Inari Highway, Amegahara | top

As promised by Lord Bairen, the leader of Amegahara, the route between the cities of Amegahara and Lunatia has been completed. The Inari Highway will improve both travel time and security, letting the Moon Knights deal with any potential threats in a more efficient manner. With the Oracles of the Sinless having cropped up a second time last month, the timing of its completion couldn’t have been more perfect.

Shortly after the Inari Highway’s opening, the Moonblessed are invited to come. Using the highway, attending Moonblessed can quickly and securely traverse the Nothing to personally witness the impact of their Chroma through their stay so far on Prismatica.

Upon entering the glass tunnels of Inari Highway, the glass first displays images of the Nothing before the Moonblessed’s arrival. It was entirely bereft of any life, and only gigantic monsters roamed the barren land. Then the images on the glass walls vanish to reveal the sudden miraculous growth of plant life, astonishing the entire planet.

Scientists at Amegahara have been hard at work testing the Nothing’s capacity to support life. They have determined that a constant and heavy flow of Chroma is required to maintain the baby ecosystem in the Nothing. Otherwise, the existing plant and animal life will die before reaching full growth. The Moonblessed are encouraged to support this endeavor.

B  At the greenhouses across Inari Highway, you will find multiple rows of wildflower sprouts and small trees planted near solar panels. In order to help them grow quicker, veteran Moonblessed already know what to do. And if they don’t, Prismals have stitched together some floral “Get Along” t-shirts for this very purpose. These shirts can fit up to two people inside them, making moonlacing practically unavoidable. Everyone will be rewarded trying these out, as the shirts have a built-in feature that amplifies the release of Chroma.

Other activities that can be performed to aid the plants include measuring chemical quantities in the soil, trimming dying leaves and petals, pulling weeds, chasing away bugs, and watering the plants using the Anaconda 5000.

The Anaconda 5000 was created with the same state-of-the-art technology as everyone’s favorite Raging Hydra 5000. This thick and heavy talking snakehead device requires a little love and tenderness to get it started. It will not be shy in giving instructions. The user must vigorously caress its sides to make it spew water. The more firm and powerful the touch, the more water it will release everywhere. However, should you and your friends go overboard with your ministrations, the Anaconda 5000 will promptly explode and set off sprinklers, drenching everyone in the greenhouse, which is bad news for them unless they want a wet t-shirt party.

Beez in the Trap
Amegahara and Lunatia | top

With all the new flowers blooming at the edge of the Nothing, pollen is in the air, attracting a rare type of insect known as the Viscosus Bee. Huge honeycombs will start appearing around both Amegahara and Lunatia, their size and numbers growing rapidly by the hour. The cities will be abuzz about these bees — literally!

A public advisory by the Lunar Scientiae appears: please exercise extreme caution when walking by open spaces, especially around parks, farms, gardens, and anywhere else that has flowers. Better check that nice bouquet of yours before giving it to someone. Chances are that you’ll meet the bees right in their trap!

C  Lots of bees means lots of honey. Giant globules of the sticky stuff drip and fall on innocent bystanders, practically gluing them together. Unbeknownst to many, the Viscosus Bee is known for producing the stickiest kind of honey across the galaxy. It will take more than nail polish remover to pry yourselves off each other! Thankfully, there is a special type of lubricant that can help those who are trapped — one that local news stations will tell you repeatedly to stock up on. Local pleasure emporiums will be selling this “Slippery When Wet” brand of lubricant at an affordable price. What you lose in dignity purchasing it, you gain in helping yourself and maybe a new friend.

Flower Power
Amegahara and Lunatia | top

As the weeks pass, you may notice some strange gradient discoloration on the tips of your fingers, and your veins (or wires) have gradually turned green. It’s certainly a peculiar affliction. Even stranger, a light touch like simply brushing against another’s shoulder will discolor parts of their body as well.

All becomes clear when three moons finally appear: everyone affected will not transform according to their usual Moonblessing. Instead, you find vines and leaves growing along your body. Flowers sprout from open cuts, between your lips, out of your eyes, through any available orifice on your body, or in place of certain limbs. You are not too different from a walking plant.

D  Your emotions towards others will also cause certain flowers to spontaneously burst out of you as soon as you exchange words with them. What do these flowers mean? Well, if you ask the Amegaharans nicely, they may give you a few guides to let you know, or you can check your local library.

Otherwise, you will be left to try and guess on your own as your body slowly germinates itself in front of others. This effect will naturally wear off once the three moons disappear.

Scientists at Amegahara will later postulate that the phenomenon originated from some of the intense cross-breeding of the plants in their greenhouses, which had released unconventional spores that had attached themselves to the Moonblessed and spread about.

However, they will assure you it’s nothing to be alarmed about. Just another hiccup in the name of science! The effects will be completely gone soon.

A. Welcome to the Jungle - Passenger

[What do you get when you mix a stoic musketeer with a bright and shiny future world packed with technology and gadgets?]

[A headache. A pounding, intense, furious headache.]

[Combine that with the transport ride from the moon to a planet, neither of which he's seen up close before in all his life, and there's a bit of nausea too. Far be it from Athos to show weakness. He merely sits quietly, eyes occasionally shifting toward this window or that, or to the ceiling as if to ask God why and how this is happening.]

[Polite or not, any attempt at conversation results in a gruff, dry response.]

Forgive me if I skip the conversation. I'm making a concentrated effort not to see my lunch again.

B. Welcome to the Jungle - The Suite Life

[How they managed to build living structures this high is beyond Athos's ken. He tilts his head back, the brim of his feathered hat shielding his eyes from the sun. The very idea makes him nervous. Live on the top floor, fall to his death when the building collapses under its own weight. Live on the bottom, get crushed when the building collapses under its own weight. Gloved fists braced against his hips, he sighs vocally at the sidewalk.]

God preserve me...

[His sword is halfway out of its sheath when the doors slide open at his approach and he jerks back abruptly. Another person exits, giving him a strange look, but saying nothing. Athos's head turns to follow them for a bit before looking back at the ghostly doors. So. This is, apparently, normal. He walks inside, and it's a devil of a time finding the stairwell (he marches right past the elevator, not knowing what it is). For this reason, Athos de la Fère chooses his apartment on the second floor.]

[Now he just needs to learn how everything works, and why there's a water basin so low to the ground.]

[IF ONLY SOMEONE HAPPENED TO BE CLOSE BY THAT HE COULD INTERROGATE POLITELY ASK FOR INSTRUCTIONS. If ooooooooooonly...]

C. Familiarity - Bar

[May the angels bless whoever directed him to a decent bar. It's definitely different than the taverns he's accustomed to (cleaner, worse music, fewer wenches), but he's able to find an empty stool at the bar. He'd prefer a table, but there aren't any empty ones to be had. He'll get one soon enough, if only for the sake of privacy. A glass mug with a frothy ale is plunked in front of him.]

Thank you.

[He actually sounds somewhat pleasant, but nearly spits out the first sip. It's cold?! ...Huh. It's not bad. He takes a second drink, then a third, longer pull, foam clinging to his blonde mustache. Shifting in his seat, he looks about the room, not only watching for an empty table like a hawk but studying his fellow drinkers too.]

[He might need another mug before any of this is fully accepted as 'reality.']

D. Wildcard

[Feel free to make a starter of your own. Any of the prompts are fine.]

LOVE GROWS WHERE MY ROSEMARY GOES

[Honestly, it was only a matter of time before Kurama wound up exploring Inari Highway, if for no other reason than the sheer ironic humor of it all. He's pleasantly surprised to discover the greenhouses dotting the route, though, and while he doesn't seem to be particularly interested in participating in moonlacing to help the flowers grow, he is being quite the mundane gardener with them in a lot of other respects.

People with sharp eyes might even notice that the flowers themselves seem to be gravitating toward his hands when he reaches out to prune the plants and adjust the blossoms. Supernaturally-inclined people might notice that there's a weird sort of energy about him as it happens — a bit like an aura, somehow.

Still, it's probably nothing. Just a young man with a long tail of brilliant red hair in an Oxford shirt with rolled-up sleeves and pressed trousers, spending a little time in the sun and helping the flowers to grow.

...And, apparently, taking the occasional trimming for himself, if the way he's sliding a few of the bits he's snapping off into his pockets, instead of leaving them on the ground.]

PETAL TO THE METAL

[Later, after he's more settled in, one might find Kurama spending some time on the outdoor patio of a cafe, reading a book and enjoying a cup of something sweet and people-watching as the world goes slowly by around him. Most of the time, he seems largely engrossed in his book, but what consistently tends to grab his attention is the now-familiar hacking noise of someone coughing up a flurry of flower petals onto someone else.]

Ah. Petunias — now that's unfortunate.

[He remarks, eyebrows slightly quirked as his only outward sign of dry amusement.]

They're a curious one. On one hand, they can mean "comfort" or "I feel good around you"; more commonly, they symbolize "resentment". I hope for that poor soul's sake, it's the former, and not the latter.

Arrival - A

[Okay, this was beyond weird and ridiculous. This had to be some sort of joke, right? Nick was behind it, right? Or maybe it was the whole department? No, that couldn't be it because she was also looking animals that... well, how could she put this delicately...

They didn't look like animals Judy had ever seen before. The closest she could feasibly come up with were monkeys? Gorillas? Only without as much hair and with... other animal parts?

Oh god, she was going to offend someone, wasn't she? Judy decided that perhaps it was just best she didn't comment on what these beasts were and instead focus on the matter at hand. That she was possibly in either some fever dream, an elaborate prank, or (sweet cheese and crackers) on an actual different planet. She dragged her paws over his face, nose twitching, as she regarded one of the many officials in this government building.]

Ma'am, please, I just need answers! Have you seen my partner, Nick Wilde? What about anyone else in the ZPD? Are you sure this isn't just some... some prank?!

Arrival - B

[Alright, she was just going to have to try and get answers herself. She could do this, she solved a case with very little resources before! She was certain she could do it again!

...except, several hours later, Judy was right back where she started. With more of the same in her notebook. She knew more about this planet than anything else, that these people, humans they were called, were the primary and most populous of the inhabitants, they too came from different worlds, and no one, absolutely no one, knew what or how this all even happened. Just that Judy was now one of the many stuck her and expected to help in her own way. And it wasn't even in a "Ha-Ha bunnies know how to multiply" kind of joke since she wasn't even required to do that (thank goodness, she wasn't really ready for children yet). It was completely serious that she was here to hold hands or anything really to somehow save this world.]

C'mon Hopps, you can do this... you just need a lead! Anything!

[All she got in answer was a growling stomach that made her roll her eyes at herself. Alright, guess she would need to find something to eat. Surely someone had a carrot or three to share, right? A snack was all she needed.]

Welcome to the Jungle

...the least they could have done was make this sized for animals like me.

[She stared up at the door of the apartment complex, one of many on her search for a place to stay. Judy hadn't really expected the accommodation but a part of her still hoped. She tapped her foot rapidly as she tried to figure out how to get in, looking around for something to bounce off of. She figure she would need to hit that pad, right?

Of course, then she spots you and quickly waves you over.]

Oh, excuse me! Hello! I'm your new neighbor, maybe? Anyway, I just need a little bit of help if you'd be so kind, please?

[If she needed someone tall then she picked the right man. It takes Ford a second to parse where the voice is coming from, but when he does his expression brightens. He doesn't look at her with confusion or surprise in the same way other people she's encountered may have. A talking bipedal rabbit in little rabbit-sized clothes really is far from the strangest thing he's seen in his lifetime.]

Sure. Having trouble with the door?

[The voice might be familiar, if minor fourth wall breaking is in the cards. If it isn't, then at least it's welcoming and curious. It kind of is weird how a place that keeps dragging in beings that aren't shaped like normal humans tends to not work too hard to accommodate them once they're planetside. Hopefully she can get some Chroma to re-scale her room sooner rather than later.]

Emmet "Fox" Martin || OC || Sanguis

A. WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

[ Fox is almost beside himself with excitement as he wandered around the city, eyes as wide as saucers and lips pulled into a near-constant toothy grin. Should he be more worried about this? Probably. But he spent four times the time most people do on entry grilling the prismals, trying to get every last scrap of information he could get.

It was an overload, that was for sure, but at least he felt fairly oriented now. This place seemed to have even more magic than back home did, as if it was suffused into the very fabric of the place, and he couldn't help but feel like he should help out in any way he could, since it looked like he was here anyway.

And besides, when was he ever going to have an opportunity like this...? Think of all the magic he could learn--

Thus, when he finally arrived at his apartment (he had an apartment!!), he opened it wide and called out: ]

Hello? Anyone in here? Looks like we're meant to be roommates!

B. MY ANACONDA DON'T--

[ The greenhouses are something else, and Fox can't help but wander them a bit in awe - so many of the plants unlike anything he's ever seen before. And fed by Chroma, which - as far as he's been able to tell - is basically some form of pure magic. He knows what he's been told about it, and honestly, he is going to need a lot of it if he is going to be able to run some experiments. So, why not here? Why not where he could do some good for the plants and the planets, too?

So, he turns, awkwardly smiling at the person beside him. ]

So, uh, you wanna hold hands? I hear it makes the trees grow.

[ Nice pick-up line, Fox. ]

C. BEEZ IN THE TRAP

[ Okay, so maybe Fox isn't totally looking where he's going. Maybe he's fiddling with a piece of paper in his hand, trying to fold it as he walks down the street, multitasking from the utterly boring activity of walking. So he doesn't quite dodge in time ( he doesn't have the chroma to put up the spell wards that make people avoid him ) and bumps shoulder first into someone walking the other way, making him drop the half-folded bird on the ground. ]

God-- sorry, I'm real sorry, I wasn't looking where I was--

[ And then, the heavens, proverbially, opened, and the two of them are now drenched in honey. ]

D. FLOWER POWER

[ Fox is no longer smiling. Fox is frowning as he sits on a park bench, trying to pluck the flowers that are growing out from under the beds of his nails as quickly as he can. He's muttering something - no, chanting - his usually bright green eyes flaring white for a split second as the flower between his fingers combusts and turns to ash. But as soon as he gets rid of one, another one is sprouting, and soon he's swearing to himself and failing to keep up even as he feels the curl of a vine trail down from his ear and start sliding around his throat.

He doesn't even notice how fast he's burning through his chroma, so desperate to try and stop whatever spell is on him that he's running through his repertoire too fast for him to think.

The next spell slices the heads off all the flowers, but then also cuts a shallow gash into his thigh. He winces, before looking down and seeing the flowers starting to burst out of that too. ]

Oh god--

[ He's so tired, he has so little chroma, and if this keeps going he's going to pass out-- ]

E. EXTRA FOR EXTRA EFFORT

[ On the network, username simply Fox. Text. ]

Looking for magic users that need chroma to power their spells and are willing to discuss their practice in return for chroma generation. Happy to discuss mine at the same time, if interested. Serious inquiries only.

[A. House Hunting]

[It’s easy to just accept he’s finally gone and died and this is some weird afterlife. It’s better than believing the alternative of being on an actual entirely different planet or world. That’d just be crazy.

He’s adapting pretty quickly to all of this anyhow, rolling with it easily enough as he pokes and prods at all the futuristic tech to see what it’ll do. Thy tell him to pick an apartment and place to live, so... Don’t mind the would-be samurai meandering into your home like he owns the place, sucking on a lollipop he got from ?? Somewhere?? And looking around
]

Huh. Yeah, this’ll do. [That apparently decided, he wonders to the kitchen to immediately search for anything that looks—or smells—like it might be sweet.]

[B. Anaconda]

[The shirt is probably the funniest thing Souji’s seen in his life. Yes, hello he’ll take 12 of them please just to throw on random people. They don’t give him 12, but he takes one and slips it on, immediately on the prowl for someone to use it on.

Which is where the unfortunate unsuspecting victim comes into play here. You might find yourself with a shirt thrown over your head and forcibly wrangled into the thing, Souji’s laughter bright
]

You want to help, don’t you? [He widens his eyes to look innocent, but it’s ruined by the smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.] It’s not my fault, I’m just following instructions! Don’t fight so much, okay? I’m delicate.

[C. A Sticky Situation]

[It’s all fun and games until giant globs of honey start falling from the trees, ruining everyone’s day. Souji isn’t really the big damn heroes type, but even he has flexes that sometimes kick in before he can think about it.

Which is why he’s probably grabbing some poor person by the hand to try and grab them out of the way of some falling honey. IT...sort of works? Except the glob hits their clasped hands to cover it within moments.

Souji stares down at the honey-trap, unimpressed and unamused. He heaves a sigh and waves his free hand
] Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it. What a pain...

[And without any preamble he lifts their joined hands to... lick the honey around the person’s fingers. It’s hardened already to apparently not immediately stick his mouth to anyone’s hand, which is fine, but this is still a stranger licking your fingers like a weirdo. So. You know. Have fun with that one.]

[For Haru, this was just another standard day in Lunatia. She never paid much attention to new arrivals, and the city was large enough where a few confused Moonblessed here and there didn't really catch her eye.

In fact, with a comically-large (for her) boba tea in hand, she walks right past a fellow rabbit and complete stranger, absent-minded and thinking about what the rest of her day was going to be.

Hm, I should probably head back and lock up the garden...then maybe see if anyone is free to hang out or--

It only dawns on her that wait, she just walked past someone who looked positively normal, and it certainly wasn't Iris. Stopping midstep, her ear twitches. She looks over her shoulder, then turns back around and approaches Judy properly.

Haru's short, even for a dwarf rabbit, but it's been awhile since she's come across a fellow rabbit who wasn't just some human under the Iris moon, or their weird infantile pets.

welcome to the jungle.
[ dying's a real funny thing sometimes.

at least, for zack, it's pretty strange. he hadn't known what to expect, not after everything that had happened, but waking up the way he had? funny. this place, whatever and wherever it was didn't feel like the lifestream or look like any other place he'd ever visted before. (maybe the gold saucer, like, once, but that's neither here nor there.) also funny. and the entire trip down into the big city drags him back to seeing midgar for the first time, stepping off the transport and trying to let it soak in. just another small town guy feeling pretty lost, staring as some of the people go wandering by. he'd tried – seriously, he really had tried – to pay attention to all the info coming his way, but with so much to look at, most of it had sort of gone in one ear and out the other. so, with a sigh, he shrugs and hoofs it rather easily for someone who'd just been dead not too long ago in the direction of the place he's supposed to be living.

which... okay, pretty neat? he's used to provided housing or barracks or wherever they're going to be sticking him, but the building itself is nicer than he'd thought. the inside, too, is a lot, and he spends way too much time poking around and trying to figure out what does what. why does a house need so many buttons? the panel on the wall is pretty heavily abused without really getting him anywhere. by then, that means trying to make some friends to help him figure out how to actually work the thing, and he's quick to approach the closest person he sees that isn't too far from his front door. ]

Hey, I'm new here. [ if it isn't obvious from his enthusiasm. although... that's just him. ] Wanna give me a hand? I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do with this thing back at my place.

[ don't expect him to be specific or anything. ]

beez in the trap.
[ being new means exactly that: not knowing anything.

of course, zack's more than happy to give a helping hand where it's needed – including in the greenhouse, though he's not much of a gardener and more the heavy-lifting type – to get the job done. that also lends to being oblivious to certain things, taking a break from hauling some equipment and getting an eyeful of the stuff happening around him. all the flowers and bees have him thinking about a particular someone, an easy enough daydream to get lost in, and for a second, when he feels that first drop of something on his shoulder that's a bit warm, he thinks it might be raining. but –

glancing up, honey starts dripping into his hair and over his clothes. it's gross, and the expression he makes clearly conveys as much, stepping backwards like he can escape it. but weirdly enough, the stuff's everywhere. why?! zack tries to warn people off by waving his arms, and yet, it doesn't seem to do any good because he's very sticky and just... sticky. so sticky. he takes another step and slips right into someone else. ]

Sorry, let me just – [ he pulls at his arm, and his face drops. really? ] Looks like we sort of have a problem.

[ the kind where they might be stuck together. where his hand might be stuck somewhere it definitely shouldn't be. ]

wildcard.

More or less, yes. If I had to hazard a guess I would say that because we only change for a week or so out of every month, redesigning the entire city's infrastructure isn't top priority. If it was it would have been changed long before anyone from off-planet began to show up.

[He eyes the door thoughtfully. If it's not his unit can he still open it? This place is high tech enough that he has to assume the answer is no.]

I'm more than willing to give you a boost up.

[★ a]
[To say that she is annoyed would be an understatement, although one would be hard pressed to see that upon Padmé's face. It may be an expression that some are familiar with, or that some can understand on some basic level. Padmé would call it her diplomatic countenance. While not exactly cold, it had been cool, not pleased with the treatment given, or even that fact that she had found herself in some strange place.

She is no stranger to foreign worlds, but Padmé tends to have some knowledge of how she has gotten there. She had been preparing to depart, to go with Clovis and get aid, and then she hadn't. She hadn't been violent, as that isn't her way, but she had been brisk before submitting to their examination, asking questions that had only been given a basic answer. She'd never heard of Moonblessed or anything else that had been explained without really being explained. The vessel at least bore some semblance to what she knew, finding herself brought to the city.

It is how she finds herself standing outside the area of what is to be her housing, a little less polished than she might otherwise look, not entirely certain what to make of everything. Brown eyes dance along the rows, pausing at the approach of someone. There is a tip of her head, watching for a moment, before she does offer a greeting, and a question.]

Are one of these yours?

[Later, she knows that she will need to see if there isn't some way to communicate with those that she needs to get in touch with. Padmé hadn't witnessed any ships departing from the moon to elsewhere, but surely there must be some means. Pick out a unit. That does make it seem like she is to be stuck here for some time, but not if Padmé has anything to say about it. Making a note of the location, she starts off instead, as information tends to be key, and maybe the city itself can offer more.

Her eyes roam, mentally mapping any course change that she takes, lest she end up somewhere even less known than the area she had been directed to. For a time she does simply stroll, although there is nothing simple about it. It's not until she has covered a fair distance that Padmé approaches.]

Excuse me. Might I bother you for a moment?

[★ b]
[It's probably not a surprise to anyone who actually knows Padmé to find her here. She has never been one to sit down and wait for things to happen. No, she is stubborn and determined, and it may or may not have gotten her in to troubles in the past. What she has seen to date is both familiar, and not. There are some common elements, she notes, that seem to transcend across a variety of different worlds, and this one is no different, despite it's oddity in arrival.

Her expression is more curious now, observant, as if she is studying for a test. She does hate finding herself in a situation that she is unprepared for, and this has been one of those. In a way, it feels like her first few months as a Senator all over again, learning the ropes, but at least this time she hasn't found herself in a building to be worked on. Knock on wood.

Even in her desire to return to where she came, Padmé isn't one to turn a blind eye, and when it is clear that aid would be helpful, she is there in the greenhouse. Naboo itself is a lush planet, rich in nature, a stark contrast to Coruscant. She's always loved her home planet, remembering how she had been mesmerized the first time she had seen a waterfall. There is a streak of dirt on her face, a leaf stuck in her curly hair that is already escaping its early hairstyle, but she is trying her best. She is unfamiliar though with most of the plants, which is why she does pause.]

Do you think this a weed? I- honestly have no idea.

[ooc: JK SIMMONS IS IN THERE OMG i love him ;3; he's a good voice and he's in quite a few animated things! ahaha she can find it a little familiar either way, but probably won't say outright he sounds like Lionhart.]

Ah... right, you make an excellent point about that. The moonblessings...

[She was still going to have to wrap her mind around that one. Mostly because she wasn't sure she should be offended or not? Granted, it wasn't like animals didn't dress as other animals before. Finn in his baby elephant onesie came to mind.]

Oh! A boost would be perfect. Thank you so much, sir.

So I've heard, [ He admitted with a chuckle, before sliding a hand into the stranger's. This wasn't weird at all.

... It's not like he hadn't done a lot more with people he had said about as many words to back home, so. Anyway.

It is nice, he realises, his eyebrows raising as the trickle of moonlacing winds through his veins. ]

Huh. [ He's staring at their hands, and he raises them, turning over Harry's as if he could see what was happening between them. He then immediately turns his eyes to the nearest plant. Is it helping?? Can they tell?? He may have sort of forgotten he was holding someone's hand and stepped over to reach out for a leaf and see if it did anything. Almost to himself: ]

Hmm, must be a long-term cumulative effect. Shame.

Oh, anything really, I mean, we're on another planet and-

[She looked at up the whomever it was that spoke to her and nearly dropped her notebook, gasping. Even if it had only been about a day, she was more than ready to see some kind of a familiar. And it came in the face of a dwarf rabbit.]

Oh my goodness, I thought I was the only bunny around here!

[She wanted to reach out, touch paws with this fellow rabbit, but the... wow, that was a very large drink. And were those... balls in there?]

[A yawn and a roll of the shoulders. It'd been a hell of a morning helping the jinba with another harvest (honestly, those two bump around so much it's no wonder they even have time to garden from all the chroma they make), but now he was dirty, weary and ready for lunch.

So ready, it seemed, that for a very odd moment he could see a little bunny and something in his Sanguis brain thought, 'Well, there it is.'

No. That ain't even funny. Also yikes.

As if to make up for a transgression he never even committed yet, he decided instead to approach. Something in the body language seemed a little out of place, maybe confused and nervous.]

B. Get your hands dirty

[ Flowers and fields are more Yuma's energy than anything else here. Flowers remind him of Rinna: A good feeling. A dear friend... one who isn't here. He feels completely lost without them. He's not sure he's built for managing this kind of situation alone, even though his confidence has grown far beyond the day he was rescued from captivity.

Yuma can be convinced into a 'get along' shirt, but he isn't about to take initiative towards it. He'll instead be down on his knees in the dirt, pulling up weeds with careful hands. At least the smell of dirt is familiar. ]

D. Flower Power

[ Yuma is not unused to strange things happening to his body. Between transformations into the Shining Dragon and the experimentation done to his body, it's pretty much expected. As bewildered as he notices the color of his skin shift to an undertone of green.

The leaves layered on his back like scales, though, that's a very different set of concerns. The dragon did not seem fond of it either, postulating with a wisdom Yuma couldn't hope to match inside his head.

So when he bumps into someone heading back to the greenhouses, he rightfully startles when his hand washes over in a similar green. ]

Oh I'm s--

[ He tries to apologize, but an amaryllis sprouts out of his mouth and he's left coughing and trying to pluck it out. ]

( he doesn't mind being dragged along, more or less putting his opposite hand in his pocket and just going with the flow. he thinks new arrivals are always starry eyed and wonderful, so it's always kind of fun to witness their joy.

a little bit like watching freshman try to find their classrooms in a very large, very confusing castle. just good fun.
)

Bit, yeah.

( he shrugs. it was worth a shot. )

We'll help it along. ( he says with a friendly wobble of his head, picking his wand out from his pocket and swiftly casting, ) Herbivicus.

( so the plant starts growing, a little wildly. see? all better. harry looks rather pleased with himself. )

[ There was nothing else in the world that Harry Potter could have done that would have gotten Fox's full attention on him that quickly. The easy going smile still left a faint trace on his face, but most of his expression had shifted to one of intense study and curiosity. He glanced between Harry and the wand, then back at the plant. Man. That was a nice spell. He whistled lowly. ]

Okay. You have got to tell me how you did that.

[ He glanced back at the wand. ]

[It is a very large drink, one that she has to hold in two hands. Obviously this world isn't the most accommodating for smaller animals in terms of business products. And as Judy talks, Haru is just taking a long sip from her tea, chewing one of the tapioca balls before responding.]

Well, when the Iris moon comes into view you wouldn't have been the only one but...you're the first normal animal I've seen in awhile.

[Or, well, the first normal animal who she doesn't already know from her world.]

Sadly I don't have any leads for you.

💫 MY ANACONDA DON'T
[ Rinoa is no veteran, but she's checking out these sprouts and seedlings and small trees like there's no tomorrow. She even has a small watering can with her which she's been using, and while she won't admit to overwatering the plants, she totally did...

She's heard of those "Get Along" shirts by the entrance of the greenhouse, but she's not really sure she wants to do any of that, you know? Although when she sees somebody entering, she vaguely considers the idea of moonlacing just to get the plans to bloom all the more... That said. . . when someone enters? They're totally getting rated. Anyone who gets an 8 or higher in her book is totally okay to moonlace with. Did you ever want a live version of hot or not? Well, here it is. ]

Hm... A 7? [ As she hums in thought, she totally hops right in front of the Moonblessed to take a good look at them, before walking away.

How suspicious! ]

Oh, now I can't decide...

💫 BEEZ FORMERLY IN THE TRAP
[ It's not just Rinoa who's gotten caught in the honey from a while ago, unfortunately! Even Angelo, Rinoa's pet and best friend, just so happened to get stuck in it for some time, too. And you know what that means? It means a doggy shower! As successful as Rinoa was to put Angelo in the tub for a bath, she wasn't successful in keeping her there!

So now there's a wet dog running around the residential district, very eager to run around and explore the new world and approach just about anybody!

Angelo has soap suds everywhere, so her jumping on people may end up with them being soaked, too. Especially when a large bubble of water suddenly surrounds Angelo... then pops!

Now literally everyone is soaked! ]

I can't believe you! [ Rinoa says, finally catching up to her dog. She's the only one dry here... ] You caused me so much trouble today, Angelo!

💫 FLOWER POWER
[ As someone who actually spends a lot of time reading about flowers and romance novels, Rinoa's fairly knowledgeable of flower language. That said, she's not knowledgeable at all of people suddenly turning part plant! Anyone nearby, she tries to help out, at least. ]

Okay, okay— [ Except, she's freaking out, too. ] What do you need? Don't be scared...

[ And as she says that, her own body begins to change. It's not a high pitched scream or anything, because she tries to contain her scream, but pistils and stamen and anthers begin to sprout from her forearms too, then petals sprout all of a sudden. She's covering them with her hands, but tears in her eyes begin to fall from the sides of her face. ]

No... Not me too...

[ Now, she's scared. ]

[ OOC | As a note, her canonpoint is pre-D2 concert, so no crazy superpowers just yet! ]
