On the other hand, Sephiroth is now quite hostile towards Shinra, and that probably extends towards the Turks, thus either making it difficult to engage with him or just further deepening his hatred. He might just decide to cut down Rude one day.
So, it's a gamble. Perhaps the best solution is to bug Sephiroth's apartment and don't get caught. Also extraordinarily risky.
