There's a good chance he might not have listened given Yukio's importance to him and the magnitude of this freshly presented opportunity to finally meet his brother face to face and talk and straighten things out between them, come to some understanding, but she should have advised Rin to wait for her so they could jointly inquire about Yukio's condition from the staff and make a more educated decision about when to speak with him. She should have convinced him. She doesn't have to look at Yukio to know they should have waited until he'd had more time to heal, to calm down because they already knew he was presumably beside himself with something that went well beyond simple anger, and there is no excuse. Unlike the messy hearts she's standing between, she isn't a child and she's wholly aware of her position and responsibilities.
