[Things were going to get a lot easier with Ann here. Physical affection could come more easily from someone she knew and trusted like Ann. Especially when it felt so much warmer than before. Admittedly helping her up would be a token effort, but she had at least enough leg strength to be good leverage for Ann to help herself up.]

Yeah that's fine with me. Just a little cake for energy and we'll be good to go.
