[ It's a little hard to accept the 'random happenstance' route, if only because of his experiences in life. It could be an option, certainly...but with the way people treat these new arrivals and how they're so useful for the economy or their general way of life? It didn't feel completely right. But he'll keep the details to himself, at least till he sorts them out. Investigation has always been his strong point, and it's not like he has much else to do around here.
