Ren Suzugamori (雀ヶ森レン) AGE: 23 HEIGHT/STATURE: 5'10", leggy (especially when the animation sucks) WEIGHT/BUILD: Definitely underweight for a guy his height (I think I've joked 55 kilos wringing wet), described as "delicate, as though he might break" in canon GENDER: Male RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Single, pretty DTF honestly as long as he finds someone interesting HAIR: Red, very long and messy EYES: Red, he has slit pupils similar to a cat or snake ORIGIN: Tokyo, Japan LANGUAGE: Japanese, fluent in English, I like to think he knows scraps of various Asian and European languages because he travels around those areas for work and tournaments. VISION Ren is generally pretty composed-looking in his bearing even when he's pretending to be a dumb wandering airhead - he gives off the impression of being a dude with a fancy upbringing. Fashion-wise, he will always have three things in any outfit: his collar, a half-skirt of some description, and a pair of boots of any length from ankle to knee (or even thigh if he's feeling particularly adventurous that day). Otherwise, he leans towards sort of casual punk looks, and I have a bunch of extra drawings on his info page because this canonpoint only has one outfit... Body language wise, Ren shifts between body language very easily depending on how he wants to come off. Like, basically immediately. Usually he'll have a sort of vague, absent-minded manner to enforce the idea that he's harmless and a bit of an airhead, but when he gets serious he has a lot more weight and presence to him, especially if he manipulates his aura which is a thing he does sometimes. He's described in canon as having "absolute charisma", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. SOUND Again, this changes a lot with his mood, but the one universal thing is that he's always very polite and delicate. If anything, he gets even more polite when he's angry for the disconcerting factor. This clip is a pretty good example of a few of his moods (playful, threatening, actually sincere???), as is this one, but for his more dramatic behaviour, this is a better example, and I have to pluck from the original for when he's getting dangerously thirsty and preoccupied with something. He's voiced by Atsushi Abe, who is also an idol series VA, so Ren has character songs too...pls listen to him sing, he has both rock and cutesy pop options. SCENT He smells...like coffee and flowers mostly...(particularly white lilies, as they're his favourite). When Cordis gives him pheromones, they smell like flowers and just a touch of the disconcerting dampness of a deep, ancient cave you wouldn't want to make a misstep in. MISC. Supernatural stuff c/p'd from his info page since I added it very recently: To anyone who can read auras or energies or that sort of thing, Ren's aura usually probably reads as a sort of benign darkness that's hiding something deeper - he can manipulate his own aura, but doesn't typically do it unless he wants to come off as someone not to be messed with. When it's shown visually in canon, it's usually dark pink or red, unless he's enhancing it to be more offputting, in which case it's dark purple, or if he's deeply angry, which makes it red and black. It might also be possible to sense the tiniest pinprick of something very evil, nihilistic and empty at his heart, as he houses one of the fragments of the seed of Void from his world, a cosmic-level power of nothingness that's now been broken apart too far to regain its former strength. Ren is actually capable of reading auras himself, alongside his weird psychic powers that can drag people into his head. More on that here if anyone ever wants to play with it! Weird psychic power also comes with the chance to see Ren as a dramatic knight in high heels. Aaaand here's his kinklist, for all the questionable info. QROW BRANWEN AGE: NOT OLD 40 HEIGHT/STATURE: 6'2 WEIGHT/BUILD: absurdly skinny, but with a decent amount of muscle in the pectoral area (man tiddy) GENDER: M RELATIONSHIP STATUS: eternal bachelor with extreme commitment issues. DTF, little negotiation required. HAIR: silver-streaked black, very thick, in short, feather-like spikes EYES: red ORIGIN: Remnant (planet), Anima (continent), some forest in the wild outskirts of Mistral LANGUAGE: Remnant...ese..... VISION Qrow is lean, kinda scruffy most of the time, and a bit gangly in the limbs. He's usually slouching, so it's hard to gauge his full height. Most of his muscle is in his upper body, built up from swinging around his absurdly large scythe. By appearances, he is very ambiguously Asian (as Asia doesn't really exist in Remnant), with a touch of tan to his skintone. If you get him undressed (not difficult), you'll notice he has quite a few scars. Some look like claw marks, some like blade wounds. SOUND IDK VOICE ACTOR ABOUT TO CHANGE?? Deep, gruff, a bit gravelly. Speaks casually and quite bluntly, and usually has a biting or cynical edge to his voice. Or, you know, just plain sarcastic.. He can, however, be playful when he wants to be. He naturally has a lazy drawl that gets worse when he's drinking. SCENT Like booze lmao (canon). Bourbon whiskey is a favorite, sometimes very strong coffee if he isn't drinking (!). If you're lucky, he'll have bathed recently and smell like plain soap and a woodsy, spiced aftershave. Hints of steel and leather also tend to linger on him. MISC. Qrow's semblance (i.e. his unique magical ability, a la RWBY) is literally bad luck, which makes his life very complicated and actually kind of tragic. But that aside, a rundown of how it works: it's a passive ability, meaning he can't control how or when it strikes. It isn't constant bad luck, but something that occurs in random spikes in the vicinity of wherever he happens to be. The effects can range anywhere from a tipped glass to a near-death experience. Because of this, he avoids being around people too often or for too long, even though he is an extrovert at heart. He doesn't tend to freely share information about his semblance; it isn't a secret, per se, but he prefers to be tight-lipped about it unless it becomes necessary to spill. There are canon hints that Qrow has experienced a lot of rejection and bullying over his semblance throughout his lifetime. Also being a RWBY, Qrow can manipulate Aura, which basically acts like video game style HP - it allows him to fight or train with live weapons without sustaining serious damage (and healing minor injury) until his Aura reaches a certain breaking point. Aura can also be used defensively and offensively. RWBY canon says that anyone and anything with a soul can be trained to use Aura (even androids!), and there is game precedent for RWBYs unlocking the auras of cross-canon characters. Qrow once taught at a junior-level combat school, so he's a decent guy to go to for beginner-level training type stuff (Aura or otherwise). He actually has a huge soft spot for kids, too, so if your teens or non-teens need to learn how to fight... that's CR I am here for. Oh yeah, and he can turn into a bird. But that's not common knowledge, unless you're a canonmate. lol

Yosuke Hanamura AGE: 18 HEIGHT/STATURE: 5'9" WEIGHT/BUILD: ???/lithe build, bit skinny still GENDER: Male RELATIONSHIP STATUS: single HAIR: dyed; fawn brown EYES: brown ORIGIN: Born in Tokyo, Japan - moved to Inaba when he was 15 LANGUAGE: Japanese VISION As note above, he dyes his hair light brown. He's tall and lanky (though not the tallest) and has a tendency to cross his arms when standing around or even sitting. He's rarely ever seen without his headphones around his neck that are connected to an MP3 player. He's pretty fashionable too given his wardrobe in both the original game and Golden plus the spinoff games. SOUND Yuri Lowenthal is Yosuke's VA in the English version, so I generally play him with that in mind. SCENT Something light and citrusy if he puts anything on, even then you'd have to be standing really close to smell it. Otherwise it's the soap he uses. He's not really into that stuff normally. MISC. Yosuke hates fish and can't stand being around them either. It's their eyes, they creep him out. He can't have tofu either, although he never specifies if by "can't" he just doesn't like it or he's allergic. I assume he just doesn't like tofu and "can't" eat it due to the texture. Yosuke's personas, Jiraiya, Susano-O, and Takehaya Susano-O all have a disco motif to show off Yosuke's interest in music, along with hero themes such as ninjas/robots/sentai. Yosuke's favorite music, however, is western music and soundtracks and it's what he listens to the most while fighting in the TV World. He's also the only Garu (Wind) user on his team and doubles as back-up healer and buffer/debuffer. He has the lowest luck stat but highest agility.

HAIR: White, generally, but in the right light it shines with "a rainbow of colors." This is canon and I hate it. EYES: Violet. ORIGIN: Wales, Earth. LANGUAGE: Servants are given understanding of all modern languages thanks to the system that summoned them so they can get around easier. VISION Reference image for canon. Good posture, carries himself somewhat carelessly, as though he's not really hurried or worried about anything. Basic outfit is his robes along with his staff, though in Prisma he's beginning to switch to more modern fashions. Prefers a degree of modesty but won't sacrifice the highest quality. Comfort above latest trends, though he'll still somehow pull out style. Lighter colors above darker ones if he can get it. Almost never without his petal earrings, and his hair's usually loose and fluffy. His ears are more pointy, but good luck finding them under his hair. SOUND Japanese VA of Sakurai Takahiro. Calm and collected, generally more upbeat, somewhat musical in the way he deals with his vowels, but entirely capable of ridiculous excitement. Has an older Welsh accent, slightly softened by his years of travel. SCENT Subtly floral at all times, following him around. Something fresh, clean, and with entirely unidentified origin. (Probably his hair.) MISC. Apart from being and freely admitting he's the Merlin from legends, Merlin is half human and half incubus, leaving him with a frankly ridiculous amount of magical energy at his disposal, and any spiritual readings are going to come off with a really strange result.

Sometimes they're more like wildflowers, sometimes it's more like jasmine or roses and such. One may get the scents of ink or paper from her too since I like the idea of her pheromone scent connecting with her love of writing. She generally doesn't touch citrus scents or anything peach scented. MISC. Sarah brought along her pet cat, Morgan (le Fay, of course), who's a pudgy tuxedo gal who pretty much likes anyone. Because his summertime portraits lack it, it's speculated that it's a fake/temporary tattoo. Plus Japan's got huge taboos against tattoos because of Yakuza ties. SOUND Loud. Coarse. HAIR: Black, long, generally in a partial bun EYES: Black ORIGIN: The Kingdom of Xian Le, Ancient China LANGUAGE: Chinese, a few minority Chinese dialects (some extinct) VISION Xie Lian generally comes across as unassuming, calm and easygoing, with a straight-backed, well-mannered bearing that might be reminiscent of a retired soldier or fallen nobility - like an old habit he just can't quite get rid of. He always puts on a calm and friendly smile no matter the situation, and is canonically described as being able to get right back up after taking multiple beatings, just to go right back to his daily work. He's also got perfect, pale, unblemished skin, and the muscle build of a guy who's been in battle training since childhood. Fashion-wise, he tends to go for the cheapest money can buy and will wear the same outfit until it wears out, which means outside of his old scratchy white daoist robes you're gonna be seeing him in a lot of dollar store clothes...or the occasional nice but decidedly old-fashioned outfit. Regardless of what he's wearing, he will pretty much always have something covering his neck and left ankle, under which he's got...they look like a choker/anklet really, but he doesn't know that's fashion yet. Also a strip of silk usually wrapped around one arm. SOUND Semi-formal speech, leaning more towards formal, with clear and proper enunciation--only semi-formal because it's been 800 years since he actually existed in any sort of position that required formal speech. He's sworn exactly once in his life. Tends to speak gently but firmly, depending on the situation. SCENT Clean linen, probably. A hint of sweat? The scent of the outdoors? The point is he's not wearing any fancy scents unless his roommate grabs him, he's too cheap for that. MISC. Xie Lian has a sentient flying strip of silk for a pet, is incapable of dying and very much willing to make use of that fact, and is technically a deity in his world. Also the choker he's wearing has sealed off all his spiritual powers and the anklet got rid of all his luck, so don't get your hopes up on him ever winning any lotteries. If anyone can sense spiritual/demonic energy you might get the faintest whiff of either off him (the former because of that choker, the latter because he spent a lot of time in close contact with a scary demon ghost man before coming here). Also he'll eat literally anything that was ever edible at any point in its lifespan, including burnt toast, failed dishes, or three-month-old moldy mantous. The power of immortality! (Being immortal does not make him immune to poisoning.) His own cooking is the worst kind of failed dishes you could possibly imagine, by the way—canonmates who've tried it have fainted, burst into uncontrollable tears and hallucinations, threw up...one guy was stuck with a weird stutter for a few days to a week?Please try his cooking, he tries so hard...

HEIGHT/STATURE: 5'2'' WEIGHT/BUILD: Very petite queen GENDER: Female RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Technically married up to her death, but ready to mingle here HAIR: Ashen blonde EYES: Blue ORIGIN: Austria, but spent the majority of her history in France LANGUAGE: French, german, and I guess japanese too VISION After no doubt several years being educated to be a proper princess, Marie is now a very refined noblewoman, radiating grace and confidence whether she's standing, sitting, or walking. Her gestures are smooth, quite delicate, and so are her physical interactions with others. Her massive hair is often found neatly settled into twintails. By her third ascension outfit, to which I'm taking her from, it doubled its volume and is now reaching below her knees. Marie's eyes are vivid blue, full of emotion and warmth towards the world around her. As she takes loads of care about appearance, her skin is healthy soft and scarless, pleasant to the touch. Otherwise, she has no tattos or anything else that stands out. Fashion is a deadly important point to her character, and indeed she makes sure to wear the brightest and most sumptuous dresses that draw a lot of attention, like the big hat she treats like a crown in all her ascension images. She loves silk and frills, but doesn't reject more mundane clothes so long as they look cute on her. SOUND Here's a sample of her speech in-game. Marie's voice is levelled, smooth, not too high pitched, although she often sounds like she's cooing at whatever she's talking about. True to her origins, her language is pretty formal and rarely vulgar; she likes to address people with the utmost respect, with some exceptions that depend on how her buttons have been pressed. She can raise her voice a little when she's irritated at someone, but never to an extreme point because seeing her genuinely angry is just not gonna happen! She also likes to throw french words within her sentences, often as exclamations like "Mon Dieu!" or "Tres Bien!" SCENT There will never be a moment where she won't smell like flowers, mostly lillies and roses. In her third ascension art above, she even wears literal flowers in her hair! She makes sure to use various products that also enhance the scent, without taking it too far but also wanting the people she interacts with to remember her scent distinctively, like a mark she'd like to leave in their memory. MISC. Marie is a Servant, a heroic spirit ascended after the death of the original Queen of France. As such she's capable of things normal humans can't do, like using magic, detecting other Servants, being able to take few hits without much of an injury, riding every sort of vehicle or creature (except dragons) and never needing to eat or sleep that often - though doing so is still necessary if and when she runs out of chroma/mana. This is worth pointing out if your character wants to test her limits during sexy times! Speaking of which, here's the kinklist for her! EYES: An icy blue. ORIGIN: The world Desolation, he was born in the mountains from pure mana at an Earth Pulse point. LANGUAGE: whatever language they speak there VISION Tall, gruff, and intimidating is how Eizen tries to come off as. He has no qualms looking like a villain, nor any qualms attempting to scare people off. He wears the same clothes every day because he’s OCD and has them specifically tailored the same way. So he enjoys looking like a dapper pirate and he sure as hell enjoys playing that part. SOUND Eizen has a baritone voice that’s a little gruff. While he’s a pirate, he doesn’t speak like one even if the words ‘aye’ come out somewhat frequently. He’s capable of sound soft and caring all the way to grim and gruff. Troll him about his baby sister and his voice will crack. SCENT Eizen, being an earth malak, has an earthy smell to him. But he also smells like wood and the sea from being on his boat and traveling a lot. MISC. He has a distorted domain where he causes misfortune to others, called the Reaper’s Curse. It causes bad luck and other mishaps to occur around him and people are almost exasperated by him when shit goes downhill because they know his curse is the cause. That said, people don’t blame him, either, since he’s always upfront about it and gives people that disclaimer than they are totally free to not work with him due to the fact that he is just one giant work hazard. His vessel is a gold coin that he always has on him. Any time he flips it, it will always land on tails. Also makes the damndest best dainty pastries. Also can’t swim. Lastly, Eizen likes history, art, and architecture and will be more than happy to fanboy to anyone about those things.

Cyrus Tistella | Steam Prison

Cyrus Tistella AGE: 18 HEIGHT/STATURE: 5'2" - she holds herself up properly but also one can tell she’s a sword fighter. WEIGHT/BUILD: It’s rude to ask a lady’s weight - also pretty athletic build. She has pretty good-sized boobs (gonna say she’s a D-cup) and a good sized waist. That said, she doesn’t really like showing them off, often. GENDER: Female RELATIONSHIP STATUS: DTF. Very DTF. Though her long red hair gives off her more feminine side that she can show with the right clothing and attitude. She generally keeps that down and doesn’t really attempt to style it at all, almost like she doesn’t really care. Or she can somehow tuck it all beneath a hat. In canon she’s described as beautiful and wholly admits that she is. It’s not a conceit thing, rather it’s just a fact to her, that she doesn’t care about her looks at all. Also it’s kind of nice to have something other than a “Ehhh? I’m just some awkward girl!!!” from an otome heroine. Given her job, she probably has a few scars on her, but none that are visible from far away. SOUND One thing that Cyrus is told about her speech is how ‘uncute’ she sounds. She speaks with a proud tone and doesn’t even dare to tone down in the least. Her screams have also been described as manly which makes me believe she has a deeper voice, despite the fact that she’s unvoiced in her canon. There’s also the fact that in one route she parades as a man, so she must be able to speak at least with a decently deep enough tone to fool a few idiots. There’s also the fact she uses a lot of foul language, but she doesn’t really give a shit about that. SCENT She probably smells like soap, but it’s probably often she ends up smelling like dirt and sweat and doesn’t really care that she does. Also chocolates, as she’s probably in and out of chocolate and sweet shops a lot and just chowing down as she walks. MISC. Sure, Cyrus is a more naïve girl, but she’s a very physical girl when it comes to more intimate stuff. She loves kisses, hugs, to sex with people she likes as just a way to show attraction. Kink wise, she’s not the most kinky, though. For non-bedroom stuff, she holds herself like a swordfighter and presents herself as one, too. DTF for her both means ‘down to fuck’ and ‘down to fight’.

VISION Kurisu is introduced as someone who has excellent posture and holds herself well, but also as someone who doesn’t have much in the chest area. Her hair is typically worn down and she has bluish purple eyes. Her favored outfit is based on a high school uniform that she found to be cute, and she altered it to a style she likes. She also loves wearing lab coats and while she hasn’t obtained one here, when she does, she’ll probably be wearing it a bit. Other characters have described her as ‘cute’, but she doesn’t have that same self-confidence when viewing herself. SOUND Kurisu has a bit of a higher pitched voice that has a small bite to it. When she’s being calm, happy, and/or professional her tone is softer and kinder. When she’s angry, sad, or upset it has more of a bite which often leaves people at a loss for what to do with her. Especially since she’s the kind of girl who wants people to ask ‘what’s wrong?’ When she’s overwhelmed she’ll speak in either neuroscience terms or memes. No in between. What a dork. SCENT Kurisu would like everyone to know she applies light perfume everyday, though apparently her soul reeks of @ channel (their universe’s equivalent of 2chan). Probably smells of black coffee and paper at times. Also, her lips apparently smell like lemon. MISC. Kurisu can’t cook and you’d swear a murder scene was going on anytime her friends found her in the kitchen attempting to make something. She believes in experimenting with food for cooking, and it’s believed her tastebuds are hella weird because she’ll try almost anything that she believes ot be edible once. Even her own monstrosities. She once tried to put an egg in the microwave. She’s also addicted to her universe’s version of NicoNico on top of @ channel. Despite all that, Kurisu is a world renowned scientist who graduated from an American university when she was 17. She also had her theory published at that age as well. While she’s highly respected, she also understands she has the spite and hate of scientists twice her age and thus has a pretty thick skin. Because of her status, she’s often rejected by people her own age and people in the neuroscience community.

HAIR: Black EYES: Black on his right eye, yellow on his left ORIGIN: Earth, presumably somewhere in America LANGUAGE: English, judging on the setting of his home. Though he can't read, he can manage to speak it, however. VISION Lean, mean, and gangly. Save for part of his face, he's covered in bandages, but underneath them is an off-colored gray-ish brown skin marred by vicious burn scars. Hair is kind of greasy and messy, also probably hasn't been washed in a while. Tends to walk like a thug and always carries his scythe around him, which probably doesn't help his appearance at all, lmfao. He usually wears a brown, slightly over-sized hoodie with a black arrow design, two rectangles to the left, and three triangles on top; part of it is covered in dried blood. Along with it, he also has black boots and red pants. Style-wise, he'll wear anything that can cover up most of his body, even if it looks kind of stupid. SOUND Guttural and raspy 24/7! That said, it's not too bad for mellower times, though the raspiness comes out more whenever he gets agitated. Also has a laugh heard for miles around that becomes absolutely deranged to the point of wheezing if he's really excited. Speech-wise, he's rough and never holds back on speaking what's on his mind. Here's a sample of his JP (Nobuhiko Okamoto) and ENG (Dallas Reid) voices! Not too different overall, tbh. SCENT Smelly smelly SMELLY. A variety of trash and dried blood mingled with the very faintest of burnt flesh. Honestly, not the kind of smell anyone would want to be around for any longer. Occasionally, when he does feel like washing up, he'll temporarily smell of cheap brand-name soap. MISC. Has Anisocoria, though it's speculated that he might also have Heterochromia iridium. Has pyrophobia, to the point where he'll freeze up. Has not had education nor ever went to school, due to how rough his life was. Sat in an electric chair and managed to survive, somehow. Pukes a lot whenever he finds something he thinks is really gross or whenever people treat him nicely in a genuine manner. Despite files from the facility in his canon putting his birthdate as July 24, it's unknown as to whether it's his real birthday or not. Yes, even he doesn't know either.
