[awww. Hazel's a bit disappointed that her fidget toy has finally packed up and gone home, even if that means she now knows it's capable of doing so at all. with nothing to vent her internalized anxiety she drops her hand back into her pants pocket; this was a strange encounter now that he's confessed to not being able to recognize her status in full, and it robs her of the satisfaction of making him a little uncomfortable himself.

nevertheless, her cheeks puff out slightly when he outright states that she isn't ordinary. she's not, and she's been operating on the assumption he knows she's not, but it always stings to hear it aloud. as if not saying it could somehow will that lie of hers into reality.]


I dunno if you noticed, but mobile jello molds aren't exactly inconspicuous.

It's a completely new world, anyway. I could be totally normal for all you can really say.
