[Eva takes a moment to sip her coffee, not giving Riku a glance for bit as she mulled over what she needed to accomplish today... or in the next few anyhow. She had come here to do some more research, to learn what she could about this world as far as the bookstore or any libraries might note. Pick up a notebook, some pens, rediscover those college study habits...
When she does glance over and find him with a distracted look on his face, she's momentarily confused. It strikes her then that she's been more or less assuming he must be fairly young - or at least younger than herself. What had this world plucked him out of the midst of doing? School perhaps, if he were a Master of something already?
She takes another sip of her coffee and notes with a gentle sort of smile:]
You can still pursue the things you wanted to do here, you know.
[She won't offer the empty platitude of how surely they won't be here forever since... well, she definitely doesn't know if that's true or not just yet.]
