E // let her lick the moon

[ See, the thing is— ]

Space food!

[ —what little kid doesn't dream about becoming a cool cowboy in space!?

Now you may ask yourself what about this weird gal is little? And that would be VERY RUDE, WOW but also VERY SAD OF YOU because regardless of their present circumstances they are still IN SPACE and this is still bland, disappointing SPACE FOOD.

So if she wants to open a bunch of those bags to throw a bit of each into her mouth like a greedy gremlin, you are not her mom SO YOU DON'T GET TO JUDGE HER. ]

F// a techno remix of physical should go here

[ She doesn't know what it is, that much is true.

But whatever it is, it sure seems glad to be with her? ]

... It's a happiness meter!

[ Someone fetch her grumpy blue man, she needs to TEST THIS FOR SCIENCE. ]

And a flashlight. It's a multi-tool.

[ Listen, she's just clearly having fun, LET HER ROLL WITH IT. ]

;interstellar action force

H // the pains of being young

[ She should hug Mash when she gets back.

She should definitely hug her and get her something nice. When things get better, she will definitely use her money to take her to a grand tour or something. Of course, she's sure the doctor never once made her feel as uncomfortable as she's feeling now, and she sure as hell knows that Romani would've never had the face to ask THESE DUMB, IRRELEVANT QUESTIONS, SHE'S TOO BUSY FIGHTING TO HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE, OKAY?? but— still.

She gets... some of it now. Sitting still and obediently taking off her necklace to let them examine the scars that still map her, she wonders if this "chroma" is something entirely new, or just the way they have here to name mana.

But more important than that— she takes a break from questioning to gently touch the arm of her current guinea pig companion. ]

Are you okay? You look a bit pale.

I // oh baby, you're coming home to me

[ Somehow, it's worse here inside than out there in the shimmering desolation of the moon. Something naturally barren versus something made to be so eerily devoid of stuff— she'd much rather brave the wilderness and its potential ghosts than deal with something so sterile.

Will the planet be like this? With a frown, Ritsuka Fujimaru allows herself a moment to sulk as she slides down the wall and into the floor, comfortably? facing the crystal-bright sight of an uncertain future. ]

I'm pretty sure rainbows aren't supposed to be this depressing.
