That's true, I can see that! Especially if it's something they've never encountered before. I'm much the same way. [Diamond can't help getting disappointed when they can't poke and prod at new things themselves. Thankfully, this place has been full to bursting with humans and the like to study, so there's no disappointment for them.

[There's no give to their hand or arm like flesh might have, because there's no actual skin, despite the carefully applied powder that gives the illusion of it. Their eyes, hair, eyelashes, brows, etc. are all also made of diamond (the hair just so fine it's actually able to be moved and manipulated much like real hair), along with their 'nails'--which is really just unpowdered sections of their fingertips.]
