The first thing that popped into the butler's head as he processed who caught him. Maybe it was the disorientation from what he just saw in the lake or a side effect of the insect's bites from fatigue from trying to navigate with a leg not really working...
'Ah. I must be imagining things.'
The butler resisted the urge to say anything and bit his tongue to keep from looking as pitiful as he probably already did. Thankfully, he wasn't delirious as the other less fortunate. Especially after he got a better look at this man who seemingly caught him with ease. (Much to Jakob's embarrassment, but won't show it.) ...No pointed ears and and hair a significantly different white from his master even if it looked similar. And those same hue of red eyes didn't quite have the gentleness like his master's, as well.
So... Jakob is just. Going to try to get himself up straight as he can manage with a not-quite-working leg as he let a hand stay atop this stranger's shoulder and then let go to lean on his own healing staff. He looked like he had been running a marathon just from trying to keep balanced, with the help of his staff in his hand now having to be used as a walking stick.]
I beg your pardon... Especially for having to do that. But I don't really have interest in laying around until the effects wear off.
[Likely because he's a stubborn one, but. He won't say it. ]
