Plop go the glasses and her shoulders droop at the little "oh". Poor guy, things just weren't going his way it seemed.
She hesitates a moment, thinking on what to say in response, then steps forward casually. The water in the pond looks shallow enough from her angle and thankfully the plop of the man's glasses were enough to disturb any images so for Eva it simply looked like water once she stepped up to the bank a bit away from him.
"One time a coworker of mine managed to drop his glasses down a waterfall in the middle of work. Leaned over and off they went." She pauses a moment, not going for a comedy routine but trying to time this nicely anyhow. "They were in surprisingly good shape once we found them, believe it or not."
There's a touch of levity in her tone and if he dared to look at her expression, she's looking off into the distance with a slight grin crooking her lips.
