[ Cayde-6 has lived a long and weird life, and this is turning out to be one of the longest and weirdest days. Nobody's shot him, so it still doesn't make top fifty for worst days, but he's stuck on an unknown world, totally out of contact, surrounded by alien strangers.
And people keep touching him.
It's not that this isn't all very interesting, sure, but Cayde has priorities. A job to get back to. A very, very short and lovely date to make with Uldren Sov. He just has to find his legs again and figure it out. It will involve crystals, judging by the rest of this place. Magic, probably. Can you rewire a magic crystal? Is that a thing you can do? How hard can it be?
These are the things he's been thinking about while he explores... this is some kind of government outpost, right? That's useful. He's trying to see what there is to overhear (which is very difficult considering everyone seems to find him much more interesting than their conversations) when he runs across, among the other arrivals, the unmistakable silhouette of one of his priorities. ]
Hey, Zavala!
[ And then there's Cayde, drifting up beside him casual as you please and looking no more the worse for wear than any of the rest of them. ]
