"Y-yeah, I'll take a look. Maybe if there's fish or somethin', there's food at least." So he'll have a look, too. He'll see himself after a minute, a heap on the floor back home, his mother frantic on the phone. Two fingers were pressed to his throat, but he wasn't moving. Wasn't breathing.
