It wasn't that protein powder (or the closest thing to it) didn't appeal to him; he's eaten that stuff raw more than a few times when pressed for time. And he was on the verge of tearing a packet open. Right up until something like a cross between beef bowls, Korean BBQ, and chocolate slammed across his senses.
Of course he was going to figure out what that was, and why it was making him salivate.
...He just wasn't expecting winged horses.
"You're kidding me." Akihiko mumbled to himself, rubbing at his eyes to make sure they were working. That was when his stomach growled, and his lips raised in a brief snarl.
"You're KIDDING me-!" He snapped that out, as the horse back winged when it saw him. He wasn't actually THAT hungry, was he? Horses weren't things you normally ate, no matter what that English phrase said.
Over the snowy wings he glimpsed someone else following it, and his appetite went on hold for a moment, getting traded out for surprise. He also caught a little of what was being said.
"What are you going to do, then?" He blurted out. If there was an alternative to eating this thing, he wouldn't mind hearing it.
B! (Also going with Sanguis)
