Souji hasn't been in this wasteland too long, but the sight of a pool was still welcome enough that he'd immediately detoured for it, noting the footprints that preceded him with some curiosity - but he's surprised enough about who he finds to think that, probably, this isn't just happening inside his head. At least, his Personas still react the way he'd expect to the presence of a friend.
