Kanji was, despite himself, hunched and audibly sniffing as he motored along. He took a right. Then, a left. Then another right. By this point, Naoto could definitely pick up the smell of a mess hall: Citrus-y cleaner, rendering fat, and the steam of a dishwasher.
He pushed open a pair of double doors and found it, complete with benches, tables, and not too long of a line as researchers and some of the early-bird Moonblessed were picking and choosing what they wanted to eat on their first meal here. Many faces were confused, twisted as they recognized NONE of it, but hunger overrode suspicion as things that were completely alien were placed on their trays one by one.
"HAH! Found it! ...My nose is pretty damn sharp. Must be 'cause the air's cleaner here."
But he blushed when he realized he may have tugged her along like a damn german shepard after a squirrel.
"...S-sorry. Here, why don't ya go ahead of me? Your stomach's been screamin' louder than mine."
