Fenris, by contrast, has made it a practice never to fall asleep around strangers, especially those whom he might have shared a bed with. As the haze from his enforced nap clears a little more, he shifts away more quickly, turning so as to keep Klaus more directly in his sight. He bristles slightly as the memory of what had happened prior to his waking returns, eyes narrowing at the man in equal parts suspicion and confusion.

A wave of wooziness hits him, making him swear a soft venhedis under his breath as he closes his eyes a moment, pinching the bridge of his nose. Fenris reviews the man's words in his mind, skipping over the parts about planets and rave warehouses that mean nothing to him.

"Or to sell us into slavery," he adds bitterly. "Are they kidnapping others as well?"
