Well, she'd only looked unconscious and unresponsive, she might even have been breathing. But obviously she'd jump to that conclusion after... everything.

"I've never seen this place... it could be some sort of afterlife, but... you're still alive, right Master Aqua?"

Surely she had to be. She was so strong, so capable... She'd survived the realm of darkness for twelve years. There was no way she'd just died at the end there.
