As a retainer, Jakob's lord had been sheltered from people and the rest of the world for most of his life, so Jakob couldn't help but be reminded of a casual moment of his lord touching him just like that and Jakob making exasperated (but not hating it) statements about how "this might not be well received by other people, so please be careful of doing that, milord.". But? His master was more of a naive innocence and genuinely not knowing better. This man... There seemed to be a similar aura of naivety and not-understanding-cues here, but didn't seem quite as blissfully ignorant as his lord? This was really odd and Jakob can't put his finger on why this is unsettling. ]
