Guilt courses through him, makes him huddle a little farther away in shame as Fenris shakes his head, dragging a hand through his hair. The gesture briefly exposes elongated, pointed ears moreso than before (and yes, Klaus, they're real). He sighs, closing his eyes a moment, silently cursing himself. Would the paranoia conjured by trauma and hate never leave him? In such a strange place, perhaps he is right to jump to conclusions, yet at the same time, could he justify risking hurting others who have also suffered? No- no. Never. He has the strength to take what he needs from those who deserve their fate. It is his own responsibility to ensure it does not needlessly hurt those who are innocent, but particularly innocent of crimes against him.
