Ross is never going to get that chance. Not with Wanda, not with you. Things with the team might have been strained, but I believe there are lines none of us would have accepted being crossed. Not even those who thought the Accords were the lesser of two evils.

I think that's understandable, considering your history. He had a position of power and he abused it. That sort of corrupted experience... [ Her voice trails off and she glances down at his hand, squeezing it lightly. ] It leaves scars.
