[Noiz does indeed expose his stomach then, doing his best to visually seek out the laser burn that Aoba ought to have—but apparently doesn't have. Stunned, he lets go and stares at that expanse of skin. He doesn't get it. How is this possible? Is he looking at the wrong spot? But he saw the way Aoba had held his side right after the laser discharged. He'd heard the sizzling and crackling. Then they'd run off in search of someplace to hide. Noiz doesn't remember much else from the point of first finding that hiding spot. It's all a big blank, and then he woke up on this moon a couple days ago.
