[Gods, this kind of question. Shar rather kept her early history to herself. Ah well, for him, she will do it. She does her best to behave, refrain her grunt towards Thancred. It's frustrating and sad. She plants a hand on her hips, takes a deep breath, now she's ready.]
Shar Nite, if you don't mind. I believe I told you the story where I hail from, the Steppes once upon a time. Though the title 'Warrior of Light' means little to me, I am a proud warrior from the Steppes. I joined the Scions of the Seventh Dawn for the challenge... at first. [She delays towards the end when admitting, life is a challenge for her for may ways she kept to herself.]
Ifrit... [Ah yes, her very first primal she recollects. Her lips arch up, grinning of that day, the excitement.] The first primal we investigated together in Thanalan. Though I and others were caught by the enemy, the primal failed to temp me alone and we danced. [She pause for a moment, recollecting that day, the excitement.]
Never I knew my soul shined so bright after the primal met its defeat. I survived with some burns but tis was fine.
[It was a blissful day and her face is beaming.]
After that, our journey lead to more primals and Ascians to tame. Before I knew it, I grew fond of all of you. [This is where Shar slowly lowers her defense, trying to open herself up more and its a challenge for her. She tries to keep her barrier up for good reasons. Her hand on her hip slowly drops down, her head tilts forward hiding her eyes under her hat.]
Like every tale, not all came with a happy ending. Some battles were hard and grief. I've lost comrades either for my sake or the world.
