Ling hates his little uncle for what he's done, but he still hates the one responsible for his death a little more. He shouldn't, and there's a good chance he'll get over it: he knows what Jin Guangyao did, knows the part the man played in his parents' deaths (albeit indirectly), but... Jin Guangyao was still his little uncle, and one of the very few people who would give him the time of day. That he was killed feels worse, therefore - or at least less forgivable - than his crimes.
But, heavens, the shame Ling feels that someone like Huaisang was able to orchestrate it all...
