A new thermos with a red bow, filled with homemade hot chocolate, a card, and a voucher inside for 10 spa trips with deep tissue massages. Inside is a brief message in a flowing script and gold pen:
Miss Jill,
I know your tendency to push yourself and thought this might get you through the extremes of winter. ♥ Thank you for spending precious time with me in this place, and may our friendship continue.
Jill will find a couple boxes, black colored with glitters all around and silver ribbons wrapping them up. Inside one of them there's a set of mille-feuille pastries, and the other has two pairs of gloves: fingerless arm warmers, and tougher biker-like gloves with metal plates at the knuckles.
The note says: "I wanted to return your pleasant birthday gift with something of my own, although I did not bake those pastries myself. Plus, I added a bit of extra for any occasion you would like to wear them. Bonne vacances! ✿✿✿ — Marie."
