Character Name: Ranpo Edogawa Canon: Bungo Stray Dogs Info:HERE Moonblessing: Cordis! Thanks to a couple of dusklight bracelets, he has cat ears and the ability to purr month-round, but during cordis he also gets a tail and gives off pheromones whenever he eats sweets.
Desired CR: BASICALLY SEE FUTURE PLANS BELOW but: drinking partners, moonlacing partners interested in more than cuddling, and people who might call him out for putting himself in risky situations. THAT SAID because Ranpo is a character who is almost supernaturally good at reading people and situations, I'd like to avoid scenarios where he'd have to be holding the idiot ball for them to make sense, because it's too much of a hassle to rationalize (i.e. I'm not looking for outright-manipulative villain cr, sorry).
Ranpo is drawn to people who are inherently kind, regardless of what their personality might suggest otherwise. Prickly jerks with a heart of gold? Tsunderes? Stoic assholes who would help a little old lady cross the street? Yes please.
Future Plans: BSD SPOILERS PAST HERE OKAY YOU GOOD STOP READING OTHERWISE but okay so: due to Ranpo's canonpoint (aka the last time he was seen on screen in the manga like two years ago jesus christ), he currently thinks he's dead, and while he's been handling it like a champ so far, it's starting to get to him. This month is going to be the start of him actively not handling it well, with Ranpo indulging in moonblessing-induced urges far more than usual and engaging in risky behavior. Basically, he's going to start making Bad Choices, so I'm looking for people he can make Bad Choices with, or people to call him out on things as it starts to get more obvious. For now, it's still easy enough for him to blame on the moons, but this is something I wanna work with long-term.
Smut Preferences:Kink list! Ranpo prefers partners who are eager and relatively close in age to him (he's 27). He is very good at reading people, and will not actively flirt with someone who doesn't seem at least a little interested in him. He's pretty easy otherwise, but depending on the situation, he can get pretty flustered.
Yosano and Ranpo drinking themselves into a stupor in the "haha we're probably dead" club and the Atsushis and/or Kunikida dragging them home y/y
actually I just realized they both have been actively avoiding having this conversation since ranpo arrived like they both kinda Know but are like hmmm let's just not talk about that. like ever.
YOSANO AND RANPO DRINKING TOGETHER, PLEASE... I feel like at this point there's no way she doesn't know he drinks now, even if she doesn't know the frequency. The fact that they haven't gone out drinking together is a crime.
But also that is 100% a conversation that needs to happen at some point! Especially since, with more details, Ranpo would probably be able to guess that she's not actually going to get shot and killed right away (since the hunting dogs would arrest her if she surrendered, not execute her on the spot). Not much better than knowing she'll probably still eventually get executed, but u know, a slight improvement.
Reaches for...idk what solid plans to make but Kunikida will probably notice Ranpo’s Bad Behavior eventually...or if we do the thing where he gets lost and calls him up.
Yes good nicolascagesun.gif depending on what the tdm stuff is they could do a thing during Cordis, or Ranpo ends up avoiding him until it’s over because he’d rather Kunikida not find out about his bad decisions until he ends up having to call him. OR they try something kinky and Kunikida just figures Ranpo is being Adventurous and doesn’t connect it to any bad behavior at first...
GOD I'm trying to think of what kinkiness Ranpo would try and subtly drag Kunikida into... tells Kunikida to blindfold him and fuck his throat, this is totally normal healthy behavior to have escalated to all of sudden, right??
God he would be both surprised and into it tbh then afterwards he might be like THAT SURE WAS A KINK...and of course he’d probably be worried about getting too rough, not knowing that Ranpo might just like that...
YES PLEASE! The last event didn't really click with me, but I'm thinking of doing a log in the next few days depending on what the TDM offers prompt-wise!
Otherwise, maybe they could just cross paths while the moons are full! Ranpo is a cuddle monster during Cordis and would probably try and cuddle with Aku if he saw him sitting somewhere... emphasis on try tho.
The moon phases will be a good idea. Aku might be more inclined to cuddles if Cordis's pheromones are in play. Plus, Baby it's cold outside, he probably needs the warmth anyway.
