Desired CR: - Fellow soldiers/mercenaries and superhero types that he can have some common ground with. - Anyone who's had to deal with time displacement problems, because that's always a fun thing to share in common, right? - Anyone who's attending the Solar Flexus gym whether to work out to take combat lessons! Steve will likely be taking over ownership of the gym (now that Thor and Samus are gone, pours one out). - Other Sanguis people because random fights are always fun and he's got to get his aggression out somehow. - Tbh, if you ever need a knight in shining armor, he's your guy. - Negative CR is always fine by me too! Steve can get self-righteous depending on the situation, and he isn't one to stand down when he thinks he's right about something. - And anything else, really!
Future Plans: Steve's currently dealing with having lost a lot of people in a short amount of time (Bucky and Thor most notably) and so will be shaken by that, though trying to carry on as usual. He'll be even more determined to try and get home because of this, though. He's had a semi-recent instance of getting Chroma drained, which has made him more keenly aware of how he needs to keep his levels up. He's also perpetually keeping an eye on his teammates and making sure they're okay, because old habits die hard. I plan to get an open log up soon for various December things, so you can always hit him up there too!
Smut Preferences: He's still easing into the idea of banging on the regular, though given that he's minus one fuckbuddy, he's going to need to figure something out. I'm open to start moving CR in a moonlacing direction, though it may take some specific planning and such!

Maaan I would love to get some CR with Steve! Particularly some fighty-Sanguis CR that can bud into friendly CR after they get a bit of that "FIGHT ME" edge off? I haven't had a chance to play around with Katara's Sanguis super strength yet, so one idea is that maybe she could end up asking him for some pointers or... something? She can always use more positive potential role models.
omg yes katara ♥ yes, he is totally down to train people in stuff and i think personality-wise the two of them would get along well, sanguis issues aside. he'll be quicker to snap out of his aggressiveness when dealing with a teenager as well, i imagine ;u;
\o/!! Oh for sure. Team Mom/Dad No One Asked For But Quietly Appreciate, super powers activate/combine! I also think in general they follow a very, very similar moral code and that tends to be a pretty solid binding agent when it comes to forging friendships with Katara.
I can toss in some exalted dragon calm to help bring Katara back down so they can actually TALK after the haze clears.
we can probably assume they've seen each other in passing / done nods of greeting and would recognize each other at a glance, then!
HMMMM, i like both tbh... i've done less pve in this game, so maybe that? but i'm down for anything. i actually just tossed steve's open log up, so feel free to come at it if you've got time o7
Was thinking of Sofia introducing an idea to fellow soldiers about a training exercise where people are given objectives, or are given teammates. She sees the limit of training solo or with just a select number of people in a gym or on some outdoor setting, and how that doesn't prepare people as a whole to respond to danger on a massive scale. And might even promote gloryhounds trying to one-up each other than working together effectively, should stuff go down. But Steve and Winter would probably the one she'd tell that idea to first. He seems like the kind of guy who knows how to do that, or rally people to get in on the exercise.
I don't know how to implement that ICly, but it's something to think about.
trying to send up mock missions and stuff would be really cool, yeah! steve would definitely be interested in an idea like that, and no doubt has some experience setting that kind of thing up -- he likely did so for the avengers. he'd support the idea and contribute, for sure.
Sweet! I'm glad he'll be on board. I just need to think of ways Sofia would even propose the idea. She's more likely to accidentally plant the idea in another person's head than come up with it on her own. She cares for others, but not that much lol. She could volunteer to play the opposing force for the participants too.
A simple capture-the-flag game might be a good start, with a Team A vs Team B. Objectives could just get more complicated as time goes on.
if steve's the one coming up with it he'd be more likely to suggest something that imitates a combat/mission situation, but hmm... we can see if we can get it to naturally come up in the thread we just started, maybe!
