It COULD be Tony getting all up in his business with his scientist questions, but if he's too preoccupied by the recent shakeups, we could maybe do something with that??
i mean i know tony isn't the feelings-spilling type but simon fuckin loves feelings so really he doesn't need much material
LOL honestly Tony throws himself into his work when he's trying to avoid feelings/feel less useless, so trying to figure out How Simon Works would actually be totally on-brand for this moment in time. THAT SAID where might it make sense for them to run into each other? I can come up with a reason for Tony to be nosing his way into most anywhere, so where do cybernetically-enhanced human AI reanimated corpses tend to hang out?
Oh, you know: libraries, parks, random places in the middle of the night. pretty much everywhere, except not bars or restaurants or where people are fuckin', so not quite everywhere
....also it occurs to me that Simon came with the Omnitool so I can't guarantee he wouldn't go to Tony at some point in the future with a "hey can you fix my brain friend".... only to have to be told a second time that that shit's melted....

In fact, that might be a good premise for a thread, and would also challenge tony in terms of like... dealing with simon's emotionality, and also bringing up the subject of AI in general. IDK what do you think?? Either Simon could go to him or Tony could run into him at the location of some other resource he's looking into to fix his omnitool, maybe?
Simon might hit him up via text, since Angela was the first person he asked to try investigating Catherine's chip and she said it wasn't quite her specialty and that there might be someone else here who could do more?? Then they could meet up somewhere from there.
and lmao Simon's emotionality... he will know Catherine's pain.....
