yeah i figured that since he was sect leader for longer in cql it'd make sense that xxc would have at least been told of him when he came down the mountain? but i'm good with whatever works for you!

Recognizing him is 105% fine with me. And Xichen has definitely heard stories, even if he might be one of the few who haven't heard the entire story.
