Oh my god yes this. Kanda and Allen's stupidity gives me life. The last... 10?? 15?? chapters have been them pinging between just being STUPID and bickering, having genuine moments of almost getting along and having an actual understanding, and then absolutely not getting along and just generally having zero chill. I love it, haha.

(And yes, god. UGHHHHH I LOVE CROSS SO MUCH. He's also been getting a ton of backstory lately and it just hurts.)

But even regardless he has a bunch of flashbacks and something that isn't a flashback with Allen and it's fucking heartbreaking and keeps popping up everywhere and given a TON of more depth and background angst so
