The OG Jojo. The very definition of A Honest English Gentleman. Literally the best, kindest, sweetest man you will ever meet in your entire life. He doesn't have a Stand, but he can make flowers bloom on trees with his mere presence. Got involved with a whole Invasion of the Body Snatchers thing with Dio Brando. It's complicated.

It's also been a while since I've rped. Might not make it this app cycle, but really, I'm just trying my best out here.

I used to play a character from the 1700s, so it's more of a matter of updating my knowledge a hundred years or so. I at least like having that historical background in place before I go messing it up by making him progressive so I don't have to play a realistic, misogynist, racist character from the 1880s.

Because lbr, Jonathan cares about Heart more than he cares about things like race or gender. He wouldn't have an issue with Jolyne punching Diego in the face, but the second anyone, male or female, says Fuck, he will be affronted.

God, I just came down with The Sick, so I hope this is making any sense at all asdflakj

But also, no worries! Roman (mista/diego player) is also someone that loves working out details like this too. I’m sure everyone else would be okay with it because we’re a pretty chill group and everyone knows what kind of character Jonathan is.

And like. I just want to play a Jonathan who is constantly and appropriately confused but ultimately accepting and supporting about things that don't include, like: Murder. Taking over the world. Turning people into vampires for your own sadistic gain. Setting cruise ships on fire. You know, those sorts of things.

You don’t have to apologize, it’s good to get out what you’re wanting and expecting so we can help you figure out if this is the choice for you! I can definitely assure you that these are matters that Jonathan doesn’t have to accept and support. Instead he’ll have an interesting family to get to know and they’ll all probably feel very protective of him once they get to know him.

Awesome! Thank you all so much for being so reassuring. It really has been a hot second since I've done anything with rp and sometimes joining an already established cast can be a little nerve wracking!

But it's also exciting! I've never played with a cast this big and the possibilities for CR is something I'm really looking forward to!

That's just how Jonathan is, though. Mista's a good guy underneath it all and Jonathan would recognize that and absolutely take him under his wing. I can't imagine it wouldn't happen.


As for Diego -- I haven't read Steel Ball Run yet (it's next on my list!) but I know two things about him:
1. He's Not Dio until he Is Dio
2. He turns?? Into?? A Dinosaur??
I'm sure shenanigans will follow. Or maybe Jonathan -- my good, dumb, naive boy -- will actually believe him when he says he's Not Dio. Either or.
