A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?

How are baby Transformers made? I've never seen a lick of any Transformers canon, but that's been a burning question at the back of my mind since the mid-nineties, at least.

Oh boy. The comic actually has an answer to this. I'll try to keep the answer concise.

So basically, there are two ways Transformers are born. yes born. Forged and Constructed Cold. But before the two distinctions, there's this thing called "hot spots" where a transformer's sparks grow out of the ground. Those baby sparks are harvested along with the special kind of metal the planet is made of, allowing transformers to grow up naturally. The metal forms around the spark and then they grow limbs There's like some genetic instructions or something like that I don't really bother trying to understand. But more importantly, forged Transformers aren't built. Constructed Cold transformers on the other hand are built. Rather than waiting for the metal to fully mature by itself, sparks are basically shoved into pre-built transformer bodies.

tl;dr transformers are basically baby potatoes. I hope that make sense?

Tell me your favorite soundwave moment from any medium.

Do you like it more when he gets to remain a robot or when he gets into formed humanization when applying him in a game?

I'll go with the IDW comic since it's the one fresh in my mind. I have two answers for this! Favorite silly moment will always be when he randomly dropped the fact that his #1 favorite Earth animal is an elephant. I'm not kidding. Now for my favorite serious moment, and i'll white text it for those 0.1% people who care about idw transformers spoilers: When Soundwave willingly sacrificed himself to save Earth and the entire universe from Unicron. It just shows how much he's grown. I love him when he's more than Megatron's glorified Siri and be his own person.

I like it more when I can keep him being a robot, yes. I'll usually avoid applying to games with forced humanization, unless he can transform into robot form for like five minutes or something as an ability. I also like him to alternate between his robot and human form in-game since transformers have the ability to create their own human avatar or whatever species their assimilating.

So right back at you, what's your favorite persona moment? It doesn't necessarily have to be from P5, even oldschool persona would be cool!

Oh, I know! How did Soundwave go about coming up with his cute avatar?

Purely from observing humans and their fashion during his time on Earth. He picked a human that looks as harmless as possible and based his avatar on them. I kinda figured he's sorta a punk in his taste, too, hence the punk-ish smol girl design.

As for why he's a cute girl exactly? ic reason he doesn't understand human enough and the whole thing about gender. It doesn't really matter to him though as long as his avatar looks human. ooc reason I just found it fun hehe. There's canonically a male transformer with a female human avatar so I'm allowed to do this!

Now I have a serious question that might pertain to their future CR... Is Mordred going to adopt little Soundy as her little sister?

Gosh, sorry for the late reply-- but the answer is a hell yes.

Regardless of how Soundwave actually is, Mordred right now sees a weaponless girl in need of defense. There will totally be some adopting going on here.

He'd be confused as hell. But he got no one but himself to blame for making his avatar a defenseless girl and going into the danger zone.

I'm not gonna answer with IDW cuz that's obvious. But Transformers Prime! Which has my all-time favorite Soundwave design.

On that note, what's your favorite Transformers character?

Ugh TFP is my favorite series that's come out in the last few years. I play Starscream from it in another game until recently. But probably gonna send him to MoM.

But my favorite character is probably...Starscream, Knock Out or Shockwave. I love me some scientist types. I can't choose a favorite because they're all so good?!
