QUESTIONS MEME

THE QUESTIONS MEME

A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?

HOW TO PLAY:
• Leave a comment below with your name and the characters who you play.
• Respond to others' comments with questions - they can be about their characters, their current in-game plans or things they'd like to play, their CR, RP in general, their canons and fandoms, or most anything else.
• Answer questions you've received! Keep it short or TL;DR to your heart's content, depending on how much you have or are in the mood to say!
• After each answer you give, ask a question back to the person who answered you. Keep the thread of questioning up for as long as both parties are game!
• Go for it - make friends, make new plans, make anything you like!

HEYYYYYYYYYYY it's Amy with Engineer from Team Fortress 2! Hit me up with anything. TF2 is a 10+ year old game so I completely understand if people don't know much about it.

I still have my inflatable unicorn that I purchased after the Meet The Pyro video dropped. 1. Do you own any TF2 merch, and 2. HOW COOL IS IT?

HELL YEAH I DO.

I have a few things, actually! I have a NECA RED Soldier figure from years ago (which I found out almost doubled in value, damn) and a RED Engineer from the TF2 Portable Merc blind boxes. I used to have the Spy a long time ago too.

And last year I got a plush Balloonicorn from PAX West! It's v soft and I love it.

I am LIVING for the distribution of Balloonicorns in the year of 2018. Meet The Pyro will always be relevant, at least in my heart of hearts.

YEAHYEAHYEAH.

THE WAY I GOT MY BALLOONICORN WAS SUPER GOOFY AND FUN TOO. Basically you paid for the plush, and then you stuck your hand in a hole in a box that said, like "balloonicorn spawn hole" or smth (this was last summer so idr now) and pulled the plush out.

I also found out recently that I could get a NECA Engie figure for a decent price, but I can't really drop money on figures atm so alas.

HA HA NICE

The only autograph I ever managed was David Hayter's scrawl across my Solid Snake action figure's butt.

I started playing around 2009! I was about 18. If I remember right, the hype was p strong in the 2009-2013 era. I dropped off for a while around 2014, but after reading + re-reading the supplementary comics (esp now that there's a big ongoing storyline) last year, I started replaying and got super into it all over again! And I'm still a big 'ol Soldier + Engineer main.

And LMFAO if you've been around since ye olde Quake mod I honestly don't know what YOU don't know, so I'm not sure what to share here! But one thing I love is the fact that, in the early renditions of Meet the Medic, Medic's Heal Gas™ is made out Jarate, blood, and sandviches.

Ehhhhhhh tbh that joke is played out for me, but given the reveal of how Valve's inner development works (see: bad) I doubt it. ESPECIALLY with everything that happened with Marc Laidlaw and the Half Life 3 script he put out when he left.

TF2's current team is also ridiculously small, so while the game DOES still have updates and events, they're understandably few and far in between. But in an ideal situation, I think I'd wanna see an improved TF2, rather than an entirely new game anyway. I'd love to see what they could do with bigger, better resources, besides what they've already over the past 5 years.

THAT SAID I def wouldn't be against a new game anyway. People were pretty down on Left 4 Dead 2 when it was announced, but it wound up being a huge improvement in like 2000000000 ways.
