THE QUESTIONS MEME

A first big 'n successful round of apps has concluded and the game is getting off to a roll - since there are always brains to be picked and new pals and acquaintances to be made, how's about we all play a little getting-to-know-you game?

HOW TO PLAY:

Everyone's favorite big sister, Camilla. With her genes, Velouria becomes even more of a tank, IMO. I'd wipe entire boards with her and Keaton alone. MY LITTLE BABY, OFF TO DESTROY PEOPLE.

GOD the furry daughters were so good, I didn't go for Camilla so I didn't know that particular majesty but Velouria and Selkie were both consistently basically my MVPs.

Me: I'm ambiguous about Fire Emblem.

Fates: We've got a loveable cast of lunatics. And you can marry one of them.

Sold. What other Fire Emblem games have you played? I just spent the last hourworking on Awakening.

Right? I personally prefer the matchmaking aspect to the "you can marry one" aspect but.

Anyway Awakening is very good! It's the one that actually really got me into the series actually. I tried FE7 back when it first came out for the GBA but the fact that people die when they are killed made me nervous so I didn't get back into it again until they introduced casual mode, hahaha. I've played Echoes too, and I've read through LPs of 6, 8, 11, and 12.

I am and will continue to be spending literal hours deciding the marriages of everyone in Awakening. Everyone deserves to be happy I whisper as I grind into the wee hours of the night. Fates was easier because, like, I shipped a lot of folks on sight, but I've decided Awakening's partnerships must be organic and character-driven as possible!! I'm. I'm putting too much thought into it. Just a little.

I've never actually successfully finished other Fire Emblem games because tiny Biz would become grossly upset at the deaths of my favorites. I mean, I used to cry when my Charmander got beat up. My over-sensitive soul was never made for war games.

God I know that feeling. It was theoretically a lot easier to ship Corrin because I wasn't as invested in the self-insert aspect so I'm just like "I guess I'll pair you off with the characters who don't get anyone else." Which worked really nicely for Shura but I was super disappointed with one of the other Corrin-only pairs... especially when I wanted to bone down with foxy grandpa Gunter and she went and dad-zoned him!! Jesus Christ, Intsys! I can't proceed with that S-rank, you weirdos, he's her dad! Cut it out with the incestuous bullshit!

............meanwhile with Robin I was like "I'm not personally attracted to Virion but I really like his support with her so they should get married."

........... I've only ever played m!Corrin, so I had no idea that you could marry Gunter, what the hell. But he's! They made him!! Dad material! Why would!! INTSYS, PLEASE. YOU CAN'T COME BACK FROM THAT.

Virion is perfect and I'm having a DILEMMA about who the lucky girl will be. Why can't it be Libra.

Yeah it’s so weird. Like I was happy that you had that option because I love hot anime old guys but I wish you were playing as a weird outsider like Robin in Fates so you could bone down with whoever without having to deal with the weird incest that doesn’t count because you’re not really related thing that squicks me out a whole lot. I want to date ossans, Intsys... but not if they’re my character’s surrogate dad...
